Combined, we have 259 children, 122 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
14 of us served in the U.S. Armed Forces for a combined total of 235 years, including 3 still on active duty.
83 of us spent a combined total of 254 years earning 19 Associates, 55 Bachelors, 15 Masters and 3 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 49 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 22 foreign countries.
5 of us have birthdays this month, and 11 of us have birthdays in January.
Currently, 10 of us are retired.

In Memory of Deborah Lewis Shaw
Debbie went to her forever home in heaven on April 6, 2020 at the age of 58, with her family by her side, in The Village’s, Florida. Debbie was born August 13th, 1961 in Hampton, Virginia. She lived in Hampton for 55 years and was married to her childhood sweetheart, Dickie, the love of her life for 42 years. Together they had two daughters and five grandchildren. With her beautiful smile and contagious laugh, she would light up any room. Her fun-loving personality will stay with us for eternity. Debbie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had never met a stranger and that was no different after moving to Florida in 2016. She was having the time of her life with her new friends and retirement. She really enjoyed dancing, playing cards, golf and bunco. Her father, Robert H. Lewis, precedes her in death. She is survived by her husband, Richard Shaw (Dickie), her daughters, Lisa and husband Kahiokeikiokupono Wakinekona of Brunswick, Maine and Amy and husband Steven Theriault of Newport News, Virginia. Her mother Patrica Brodeur and longtime partner Kenneth Gill of Hampton, Virginia, and brother Robert W. Lewis of Midway Park, North Carolina. Debbie is also survived by her five grandchildren: Alana, Maleia, Richard Ilae Wakinekona and Henry and Josephine Theriault. |

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in her name to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org or the American Venous Forum Foundation at www.veinforum.org. Debbie is and will always be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts forever. |
